Run Plan Outline

We have found the following format to organize runs extremely helpful in ensuring that all bases are covered. The form owes its present incarnation to many CUR members’ input, chief among whom are Keith S., Betsy C., and Krys P.

Run Coordinator — Each run should have one person who is the “in charge” overall coordinator. This person should be the final decision maker as to who is responsible for what portion of the run, and whether or not the run ultimately takes place. Everyone taking part in the run reports to this person. Others who are able to line up needed runners, should pass the info on to the coordinator rather than setting up a “leg” on their own. This avoids the “too many cooks” syndrome and helps to keep crossed-wires to a minimum.
